For Rent at Business Centre Overstad

At Business Centre Overstad there are units for rent of various sizes. On the ground floor and first floor there are units available from 500m2 to 2,000m2 and on the second and top floor of the building there are a number of “turn-key” units for rent which vary from 30m2 to 180m2.

Access to the units in Business Centre Overstad is generally from the main entrance at the Noorderstraat 1 and De Jagerstraat 10, however using the entrance of the underground parking garage located at De Simsonstraat, it is also possible to get into to the building: Business Centre Overstad.

There are three elevators in Business Centre Overstad. A passenger elevator in the main entrance of the Noorderstraat, which takes you directly to the second floor and a larger passenger elevator located in the central entrance of De Jagerstraat for use of all floors, including the basement/parking garage. In addition, there is a large goods/passenger lift especially for the supply and removal of goods from the shops on the ground floor to the first floor. A common logistics space is also available for this to facilitate this flow of goods.

“Turnkey” Units

These units have an entrance with a central staircase with an elevator located on the Noorderstraat, which has a business-like appearance. Most of the units are ready for use and equipped with ceilings, light, ducts, carpet and a pantry.

The units have access to modern facilities including Internet access (for example, by telephone, cable or fiber optic), digital TV, videophone door open and air conditioning. Also, each unit has its own alarm system and the building’s security is further enhanced with a central digital video surveillance (CCTV) system. The units can also make use of the central meeting room. Additionally, most units have private access to a beautiful rooftop terrace.

Most units are leased including one or more parking spaces in the garage located below the building. Extra parking spaces can be rented for an additional fee. In the near vicinity of the building there is a wide variety of parking available at very favorable rates where you can park for less than 5 euros for the whole day.

We would also like to point out that although the available units are primarily intended for office space, there are other types of business use possible. For example: repair shops, wholesale operations, social service and other healthcare related practices. In any case, consultation with the Municipality of Alkmaar and the applicable zoning plan is nevertheless recommended.

Currently there are no “turn-key” units available.

“Casco” Units

These units are “casco”, have different sizes and are suitable for retail, office, storage and general business purposes. Due to the solid concrete construction, the units have a large free span of around 11 meters long and 7 meters width and a ceiling height of over 3 meters. This will make it possible to design the unit to your own specifications. The units are equipped with a connection to the central electricity, gas and water network available in the building.

Units are available from 500m2 to over 2,000m2 at current market fees.
